glass pendants

I've been messing with my micro kiln again, i thought i might aswell use it till it breaks as i have a sneeky feeling my hubby has bought my a proper kiln for my birthday tomorrow. I'm thinking of opening another shop on MISI just for my glass creations and also another website. I'm still thinking about it but i will let you know what i do. So this is what i made yesterday i've called this one sunny side up because it reminds me of a fried egg lol.

kitty ballistic

Next stop on the coriandr express is kitty ballistic, she makes felt toys and jewellery. I just love these earrings they appeal to my rock chick side.

on holiday

It has been a while since i have blogged about myself, i think with the kids being off school i haven't had much time especially with being away in my caravan too. Also i haven't made any new jewellery for a while I've got back into cross stitching and i'm enjoying the break. I've been sun bathing today and i'm just about to take the kids out for a drive so bye for now and will be blogging again soon x.

So continues the coriandr express, sorry i haven't been around much lately but with the kids being off school and being away i haven't had much time for anything. The next stop is julie mills, she is a fashion designer graduate who specialises in textiles. Julie has these beautiful purses and scarfs in her coriandr shop.

Carring on with the coriandr express next is blue fish handmade. She makes georgous crochet items. I think these gloves are great.
I love these slippers too, they look sooo comfy.

and i saved my favourite till last, i think these are fab and yes they are knickers. I love the colour as well as the fact they are 'alternative'.

dig the earth

I have a shop on coriandr and a group of us are doing a promotional train where each 3 days we promote different sellers. For the next 3 days it is the turn of dig the earth. The man behind it is Kevin and he makes these beautiful mirrors.
He also makes great cards from 100% recycled card and they come in 100% recycled envelopes.

new beads - again!

I bought 4 new sets of lampwork beads last week, i have made this necklace and pair of earrings with one set and can't wait to use the others.
The necklace is blue suede with tibetan silver toggle and spacers.

The earrings are sterling silver with blue swarovski crystals.

I have been away for the weekend in my caravan in wales, It was a nice break as we haven't been for 3 weeks because the weather hasn't been to good. We went to look at houses for

sale whilst we were there but i think we have decided to look a bit closer to home.

great shop

There are so many talented artists out there and every now and again i come across a shop and think wow. Well this has been the case again and i thought i would blog about it. The shop i found is on folksy and called baby blonde designs i just love the items she has in her shop i have featured some below.
First is this apron bib, don't you think it is georgous. i love the colours.

horses

I've been working on this bracelet for the last 2 days and i've finally finished it this morning. It is a horse charm bracelet which features 2 horse charms and a horse shoe charm which has tiny gems on it. I strung it with red, pink and white glass beads, i wasn't sure how it would turn out and half way through i wanted to change the colour but it was too late so i stuck with it and i think it has turned out ok.

I know i have already blogged today but i was hanging the washing out and my daughter was really quite so i came in to check on her and this is how i found her. sun glasses on and ready to take her dog for a walk lol.

more lampwork

yesterday i showed you the polka dot earrings i had made from the lampwork beads bought at beads up north. I have made a couple more pieces and i only have 2 beads left now. I love these they are sterling silver with swarovski crystals.

I made this necklace with another lampie, it's pink and purple glass beads with tibetan silver spacers. The necklace is made up of purple suede.

polka dotty

Remember a couple of weeks ago i went to the beads up north fair and got some lampwork beads from www.jeanetteslampworkbeads.com and i said i would show you what i made with them. Well this is two of the beads i bought, i bought 7 altogether. I love them there sterling silver earwires with purple swarovski crystals and purple polka dot lampwork beads.

They are now available on my website.

cameo necklace

I love cameos so when i saw this i just had to buy it. I added the pendant to some antique gold chain and also added some lilac glass pearls.

I haven't added it to my website yet but i'm going to do it today.

I've just got back from southport with my daughter, hubby and son have gone away for the weekend camping and fishing with my dad so it's just the 2 of us. We went to the usual haunts and had some breakfast in sayers. I got a card making goody bag whilst i was there so i'll be busy with that tonight.

another bracelet

I had a good day yesterday at the races, i won £60 and it didn't rain which was great.

Back to the grindstone today and i have made this bracelet. I tried to keep it with the latest 'in' colours and think it will be great in the summer.

I'm working on a cameo necklace next with antique gold chain so watch this space.

good week

It has been a good week for me i've had 2 separate people buy a a couple of things from my shop so i'm really happy, fingers crossed my luck continues tomorrow when i go to chester races. Even if it is just the rain holding off i'll be happy. Here is another ring from me, it's blue glass with blue dichroic glass.

something for myself

It's not very often i make jewellery for myself as dispite making it i don't wear it. I'm going to chester races on thursday for a day out and i needed something to go with the dress i have got, it's white with green and purple flowers on. I know it doesn't sound very nice but it's georgous, i made these earrings

and i got these beads on sunday when i went to the bead fair so i could make this necklace. I know it's not fitted into the picture very well but you get the jist of it.

good and bad day

I went to the beads up north fair today, got some lovely beads to make my jewellery for chester races on thursday. I also got some georgous lampwork beads from this lady www.jeanetteslampworkbeads.com can't wait to use them. I'll post some piccies when i have made something with them. So that was my good day, my bad day was that i have noticed a big crack in my micro kiln :-( it seems to be getting worse each time i use it. I'm not impressed as i have only had it a week and it cost £125.
These are my latest makes the first is white bullseye glass with purple on top. The colour is alot nicer than it looks in the photo.


The second is purple bullseye glass with dichroic glass which reflects blue and purple.


And i made this one with purple bullseye glass on top of black glass but you can't see the purple. I made it into a ring which is quite large but it looks lovely.

half price

i've decided i have way to much stock at home and have decided to reduce some of it. I have done my MISI shop , all rings, handbag charms and keepsake cards are now half price so why not pop over and take a look.
